Got Questions?

i've got answers

Although I'd love to get chatting with you and answer all the questions you may have, I thought I'd put some of the frequently asked questions below to save you some time.

If you can’t see the answer to a question you may have, or there’s anything you would like to know that isn’t on the site, don’t panic! Get in touch and let’s chat.

01

What is the booking process?

After I have confirmed the date is available and we have had a chat about what you want from me as your photographer, I need a £250 deposit and a singed copy of the contract. This secures your date and ME as your photographer. Sadly, I cannot hold dates for you without the booking deposit.

02

Are you insured?

Yes, I have public liability insurance of £5,000,000 and professional indemnity insurance.

03

Do you shoot destination weddings?

YES, YES and YES again! I will travel anywhere, just say the word and I’m already on the plane, contact me for a bespoke price.

04

I don’t see any formal family photos on your website! Do you do them?

YES of course. My style is candid, natural and emotional, however I totally recognise the importance of getting those formal group photos. I generally speak with yourself to organise and set aside time that will allow us to photograph your requested family shots.

05

Do we need to feed you (the photographer) during the wedding?

Yes please, it’s a REALLY long day of running around taking photos and a girls gotta eat. The best time for me to eat is while you and your guests are getting fed. Let’s face it, no one wants picks of them stuffing their faces.

06

What kind of equipment do you use?

Professional equipment! I happen to shoot with Nikon gear and I have a variety of lenses and back-ups, it’s all insured.

07

How will our wedding photos be delivered?

Once they are edited I will upload them to an online gallery. I will email you a link and, through that, you can download the images. You will also be able to share the link with family and friends. Through this, you can also order professional-quality prints. Depending on your choice of package, as well as the online gallery, I will also post you out a USB and holder that contains all the images along with a few sassy extras.

08

Do I get the RAW files?

No. I do not, under any circumstances, provide the RAW files. This is partly due to the fact that RAW files are not compatible the same as JPGs and the majority of people will not be able to view them as they require special software. I also do not provide them because you’re hiring me based on the finished my finished work. Editing your photographs is part of the process and is a major factor in the creation of the final image.

09

Do you remove (or add) people from the photos or do you edit my physical appearance?

My approach is to be completely natural and, besides editing the colours and lighting to match my style, I like to leave the images as they are because this is the true story of your day. This means that I tend to not remove people or objects from your photographs and I do not edit the physical look of people, i.e. removing moles or making arms look thinner.
