I had SOOO much fun on my first engagement shoot of 2021. We went for a low key, early morning stroll around Chorlton Water Park and took advantage of the rising sun. I asked Hannah and Alistar what their first dance song was going to be and I played it for them to help get them in the mood and to kickstart their morning adventure. The weather couldnโ€™t have been better and the lighting turned the photos from amazing to MAGICAL! The sun was glistening through the trees and lighting up Hannah and Allistairโ€™s silhouettes.

When I meet couples for the first time, whether at their weddings or at an engagement/adventure session, I like to make the couple feel as comfortable and relaxed as possible. I donโ€™t want them to look at it like a “photo shoot” but as a group of friends going for a walk or wander. What I loved the most about Hannah and Alistair was that they were a little bit quirky, like me, and they were up for creating non-tradional images.

Hannah and Alistair wanted to do an engagement shoot to get to know me and how I work a bit more and to feel comfortable in front of the camera ready for their big day. Honestly, these guys nailed it, as you can see for yourself:
